Obituary for James Thomas Eckhout

James Thomas Eckhout, a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, formerly of Shelby Township passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018; at the age of 64. He was born to his parents, Joseph and Helen (maiden name: Dewitte) Eckhout on December 24, 1953. 

James graduated from Utica High School in 1972. He attended Northern Michigan University for his undergrad from 1972-1977 and his graduate work at the Mayo Clinic from 1977-1979.

He married the love of his life, Dianne on July 22, 1977 in Rochester, Michigan. They have since enjoyed over 40 years of marriage together. 

James was the owner of Health Trak Physical Therpy for 23 years.

James is survived by his wife, Dianne Eckhout; son, Thomas Eckhout and grandson, Damian Eckhout. He is also survived by his siblings; Kathy (Bob) Keidel, Rick (Paula) Eckhout, Eileen (Rick) Zuelch, Mary Lou (Henry) Meabrod, John Eckhout, Linda (Phil) Newcom, Gary (Val) Eckhout, Peggy (Nick) Sorise, Joe Eckhout, Jeffrey Eckhout, and Michele (Dave) Lindsay. 

James is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Eckhout and sister, Karen Jo.
