Charles Anderson Jones, age 82 of Troy, died February 9, 2012. Charles was born May 10, 1929 in Norfolk, Va to Samuel and Mary Ruth (Kelly) Jones. He worked as an Engineer for Federal Mogul retiring in the late 1980’s. After retiring he returned to school and obtained his counseling degree and became a hospital Chaplain for Pontiac General Hospital. He was involved in the Clawson Rotary as well as being active with Love of God through National Shrine of the Little Flower Parish. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed fishing as well as collecting fish and will be remembered for his loved of classical music. He very much enjoyed his true roots of Norfolk, VA and Ocracoke Island, NC and loved the people of that area. Charles is survived by his children, Daniel (Julie) Barth-Jones, Mark Jones, Timothy (Kelly) Jones and Mary Ruth (Paul) Dickson. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren along with his siblings, Mary Ruth (Norvell) Jones-Scott, Howard (Sara) Jones and half brother, Selby Jones and half sister, Carolyn Jones. Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Imogene on November 7, 2011, his parents, brothers, Samuel G. Jones, Jr in 2003, William Jones in 2002 along with his daughter-in-law, Kim (Latham) Jones in 1998.
