Phyllis Henrietta Bennett Handley,age 86, of Alpena, MI, formerly of Shelby Twp, MI, died peacefully on December 30, 2012. Phyllis grew up in the Detroit area and graduatd from Redford High School. She later married William John Handley for 63 yeaars and they made their home in Livonia, MI raising three children Ruth Ellen Follbaum (Terry), Robert William (Pamela) and the late Barbara Ruby Andreotti (Russel). Phyllis worked for the Ford Motor Company for over 25 years as an executive administrative assistant and enjoyed many years of active retirement. She is survived by loving grandsons, Brian, Gregory, Kyle, Scott, and Max. Predeceased by mother and father, Julius and Claribell Bennett, brothers, Lee and Joseph Bennett.
