Roy was born on February 18, 1934 in Ferndale, Michigan.

He passed away at home in Clawson on July 24, 2017.

Roy was married to his loving wife Jean for 62 years until she passed away on January 21, 2017.

Together they created a family of four children: Ellen Pach (Peter), Keith, Andrew and Jennifer; two grandchildren: Angela Western and Melanie Miller (Paul); and four great grandchildren: Whitney, Evan, Marissa and Emily.

Roy is a Veteran of the United States Armed Services.

He proudly worked as member of Plumbers Local 98 and assisted in the building of many of metro Detroit’s landmarks including the Pontiac Silverdome, Henry Ford Hospital and the Renaissance Center.

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Clawson.

He had a variety of interests including watching the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions, working on cars, maintaining and improving his home and at one time had the most beautiful rose bushes in the neighborhood.

Most of all Roy loved caring for his family.

Visitation Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at Gramer Funeral Home 705 N. Main St. Clawson, MI. 48017 248 435 9010. Funeral Services will take place on Friday instate at 10:00 a.m. until service begins at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clawson. www.GramerFuneralHome.com
