As an additional service to our families, we offer an on-site selection of the finest in grave markers. They are available in bronze or various types of granite at a reasonable cost.
Monuments: A monument is a large granite marker usually engraved with the familys last name only. A monument marks a familys plot, which may contain six or more individual plots.
Grave Markers: A marker is smaller than a monument and marks an individuals grave. The grave marker contains the deceaseds full name, birth date and death date.
Grave markers are made of bronze or various types of granite. Bronze is slightly more expensive and longer lasting than granite. Bronze is usually flush with the ground. Granite may be flush with the ground; however, it may also be upright or at a slant. Granite has more flexibility in design choices.
Cemeteries have regulations concerning markers and each cemetery is different. Please ask us about the specific cemetery that you wish to place a marker before deciding upon material and design. Cemeteries also charge an installation fee to place and set all monuments and markers.
